We spent Thanksgiving with Jeff's family this year at Nanny's house and had a really great time, as if you can't tell from the pictures!! Lots of rough-housing to be had by all...well, anyone who decided to come in contact with Kenden anyway! Hope all of you had a fun, safe, and blessed Thanksgiving. Our family has so much to be thankful for....wishing you many blessings this upcoming year!!

HHS Homecoming and Cheerleaders from the Past Reunion!

My high school's homecoming was the 6th of November and they'd decided to do a gathering of the old cheerleaders! I decided it would be a ball to show up and hang out with all the old gang of girls! We had so much fun, and got to throw the plastic footballs at halftime! Ahhhh, to be young again!

Since we were in town for the HHS Homecoming, Hilary and I decided to get together to let the boys have a playdate (and the Mommy's have a talk and coffee break!!). Kenden was SO excited, as was Colin, who was asking poor Hilary all week long when Kenden was coming to play. I have to say, the boys got along so well and had a blast...poor Cayden had a hard time keeping up, but he was so adorable and such a good sport with those 2 older boys running in circles around him. Hilary and I were so happy to hang out and catch up....it was long overdue! Here's to great friends and fun play dates!

Trick or Treat!! Halloween 2009 is here and Kenden decided to be his very favorite character of all, Optimus Prime! He was SO excited to wear that costume, especially the arm cannon part (see pictures)! Grammie and Papa came down this year to join us and help hand out candy...my old neighborhood where I grew up is so slow when it comes to Halloween, they were so excited to come see us and all the little ones dressed up, as well as Kenden. We had such a good time! This is the first Halloween that Kenden's been able to do more than just our street, although I am not sure why we did more, as he doesn't really care about the candy! ha! Happy Haunting everyone!!

Pumpkin Carvin' Time!

The time has come to carve our Halloween Pumpkin!! Since Daddy and Kenden both think it is a super gross job, it is left up to Mommy, who gladly does it because she thinks it is fun! Party poopers....ha!! Kenden helped me choose which cool picture we were going to put on our pumpkin this year, and he decided to make it a little challenging for Mommy and chose the picture of Dracula with his cape over his face. Good thing Mommy is patient when it comes to this stuff!! Check our super cool pumpkin!
