Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet....Gimme Something GOOD to Eat!! Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat!! Halloween 2009 is here and Kenden decided to be his very favorite character of all, Optimus Prime! He was SO excited to wear that costume, especially the arm cannon part (see pictures)! Grammie and Papa came down this year to join us and help hand out candy...my old neighborhood where I grew up is so slow when it comes to Halloween, they were so excited to come see us and all the little ones dressed up, as well as Kenden. We had such a good time! This is the first Halloween that Kenden's been able to do more than just our street, although I am not sure why we did more, as he doesn't really care about the candy! ha! Happy Haunting everyone!!

Pumpkin Carvin' Time!

The time has come to carve our Halloween Pumpkin!! Since Daddy and Kenden both think it is a super gross job, it is left up to Mommy, who gladly does it because she thinks it is fun! Party poopers....ha!! Kenden helped me choose which cool picture we were going to put on our pumpkin this year, and he decided to make it a little challenging for Mommy and chose the picture of Dracula with his cape over his face. Good thing Mommy is patient when it comes to this stuff!! Check our super cool pumpkin!

Kenden the Scarecrow!

Kenden's class has been talking about all things Fall, so of course, they've been talking about scarecrows! Kenden had to dress up as a scarecrow for school, and I must confess that, for some reason, I missed reading that in his school calendar! Thankfully, the teachers sent a reminder note home, which sent me running for Target in search of a plaid shirt, which I managed to find. Luckily, we already had brown boots, jeans, a straw hat, and a bandana at home! Kenden was all set. I don't think he is a very scary scarecrow...cute is more like it!

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY KENDEN!!

We celebrated Kenden's 4th Birthday with a TON of family and friends at Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach. Hunt Club has SO much fun stuff for the kids to do: petting zoo, inflatables, pony rides....the list goes on. Nearly everyone we invited decided to come, so it was a fun, full house! The kids had a ball, as well as all the adults, and afterward, family headed back to the house to join us while Kenden opened his gifts. We had such a blast, and are so very blessed with so many wonderful friends who came to share the celebration with us. Mommy and Daddy love you bunches Kenden! Happy Birthday!
