Happy 2nd Birthday "Baby" Blake!

A super special Happy Birthday to our buddy, "Baby" Blake Jennings! Blake, it has been a pleasure to watch you grow so fast and become a little boy! Kenden, Jeff and I look forward to many more of your birthdays to come! Also, thanks for letting me borrow your mommy Kelly on your birthday so I could go to the doctor....your buddy Kenden really appreciates it, too!

The Itsy-Bitsy Spider....

....Lives in our Flower Bed! I guess you know Halloween is almost here when REAL spiders start taking up residence in your bushes in the front yard. This BIG fella has been here for at least 2 weeks now, building and rebuilding his web. The lights from the garage must lead to an abundance of juicy bugs to feast on. Kenden love to check and see if "Mr. Spider" is there everyday. I am waiting for Kenden to forget he's living there and run through the bushes and get a huge spider bite! UGH! Pumpkin Time at Hunt Club Farm!

Tonight, we made our annual trip to Hunt Club Farm as a family to pick out our pumpkins, ride the carnival rides, and get our bales of hay and cornstalks (for decorating of course!). It was a gorgeous fall day today...perfect weather. I just love this time of year....Kenden had a ball. We had a successful trip with NO MELTDOWNS (which is just about as close to a miracle as you can get around here lately....we are in three year old meltdown city!). Now, I am ready to get the house decorated....it is official!

RIDES! Kenden rode the helicopter all by himself this year!

He rode the monkey thing with Da-da....he is the one with the stronger stomach, although we debated this fact~they basically rode in this and didn't spin the wheel so they weren't spinning on top of spinning...does that make sense?

Kenden had a ball this year because he was able to pick up some of the pumpkins and pull the pumpkin wagon! Here are a few shots of him enjoying his new found strength, as well as standing with the horse carriage!

Today, Kenden and I went to Luke and Jaxson's 3rd birthday party at Hunt Club Farm here in Va. Beach. This party started the LONG list of birthdays and birthday parties this month! I am convinced that there is nothing better to do in January (think about it). Anyway, boy did we have a super time! We got to go through the petting zoo (but I avoided that at all costs...farm animals sort of freak me out, especially the poultry version), so Kenden had a blast doing the bounce houses they have set up. It was a gorgeous day and a fun time was had by all. Happy Birthday Luke and Jaxson!
