Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday Dear GRAMMIEEEEEEEE!!!!! Happy Birthday to you! We love you bunches Grammie and hope your day was a fantastic one!
First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR a little belated! This is my first post of 2009...so much has already happened and we aren't even out of January yet! Kenden is just growing and changing by the day, and I have to say, the "Trying Threes" are harder than the "Terrible Twos". Especially when one's child talks as much as MY child does!
Funny story, today I told Kenden that I'd gone upstairs last night and totally straightened up his playroom, which looked like a tornado had hit it. I was telling him that we need to get better at straightening up the room, because when stuff is all over the place, there is no room to really play. We were discussing this on the way home from preschool. As we pulled into the driveway, I asked him what he was going to do when we got into the house and he said he was going to go upstairs and play with his matchbox cars in the playroom. He ran into the house and asked for help getting his shoes off, then off he went up the stairs. I sort of followed behind him to see what he'd say...I stood at the foot of the stairs....he was so cute. He gasped and said, "MOMMY! Thank you SO much for cweaning (cleaning) up my big mess in here!"
You know, I know I need to be better about making him help me, but hearing that from him was totally worth the trouble I took organizing everything....he was sincerely appreciative. Now, I just need to teach him how to straighten up himself (or at least with my help)!
We had our annual Breeden Christmas get together on Sunday December 28th! What a great day...the weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed seeing each other again for the first time since this past summer at the OBX! As you can see from the pictures, we had a ball. We ate pizza, opened gifts, teased each other, and even got a chance to play outside since we had some lovely 75 degree weather! We love our family!
Havin' fun, being silly, and opening our gifts!
We had such a beautiful day to celebrate Christmas...it was 75 degrees on December 28th~perfect for 3 little boys who were full of energy and itching to get outside!

We had a great time surprising Tim with the wakeboard he'd asked for (he thought it was a crib or changing table for their new baby who is due in April)! Another wonderful day spent with our family!
