Aunt Amber's First Visit with Chase!

I got to have my first visit with Chase, Tim and Carrie on Sunday the 26th. I went without Jeff and Kenden for a couple reasons: 1) I didn't want to feel rushed, and 2) Kenden was getting over a sinus infection and I didn't want his little germ-infested self around Chase! So, Jeff stayed with Kenden in Va. Beach, while I went to Smithfield! I had so much fun getting to hold and spoil my new nephew....he is just precious (check out the pics for yourself!) and is a very good, peaceful baby. I can't wait to see how he grows and changes, and to see the relationship that develops between Kenden and Chase. What a blessing a new baby is....

3rd Attempt (525lbs)...Missed. It didn't help that right before this lift, the guy that went before Jeff dumped 520 pounds on his chest because the spotters didn't catch it before he dropped it...

Jeff decided to lift in the FLEX Gym benchpress meet...it is a "Raw" meet, which means that there are no bench shirts worn, just wrist wraps and weight belts. Jeff weighed in at 242.5 pounds, which put him in the 242 pound weight class. He ended up with the highest lift of the day out of all the weight classes, which was 510 pounds. He made his first 2 attempts (475 pounds and 510 pounds) and missed his 3rd attempt (525 pounds). He had a great time and was very sore the next couple days!

A Super HUGE Welcome to Chase Luke Breeden!

We are so excited and proud to announce the arrival of our newest family member, Chase Luke Breeden, at 2:19am on April 22nd. This is the son of my brother Tim and his wife, Carrie...Kenden's newest cousin! He is the first grandchild to come along who will carry on the Breeden name! Carrie had a super long labor (22 hours) followed by 2.5 hours of pushing...all worth it! Chase was 8 pounds 1 ounce, and 21.5 inches long. We are so excited for Tim and Carrie and send our love and congrats to them as they start their parenthood journey! Love you all!

A Day at the Playground at the Oceanfront

What a beautiful day....when we were at the Oceanfront this past weekend at the car show, Kenden eyed the playground equipment on 31st street as we walked down the boardwalk. He wanted to play then, but we couldn't let him, as we had a birthday party to go to. I promised him I'd bring him back on Tuesday when he was out of school, so that is just what we did. He had a wonderful time and played with a bunch of other kids who were there. The weather was sunny and balmy...the perfect day to play outside, on the beach....

Easter at Grammie and Papa's House!

We also had a wonderful time over at Grammie and Papa's house! We grilled steaks on the grill, and they also had a super fun Easter Egg Hunt all planned out. Kenden even got to play with the daughters of a friend of mine whom I grew up next door to, Abby and Ella Warren. They had a ball...

What a wonderful, blessed day we had....We are so thankful for our friends and family, and the fact that God gave his only son so that we might have everlasting life!

Celebrating Easter at Nanny's House

What a beautiful Easter day! We had a nice lunch at Nanny's house, followed by our favorite Easter Activity, an Easter Egg Hunt. Nanny has the perfect yard for an egg hunt...so many good hiding places!

Kenden was VERY excited about starting the big Easter Egg Hunt....he was so into it this year! So much fun!
